Drop-ins are unable to be accommodated right now to help spread out the demand and ensure Bike Root does not become crowded during these trying times. Please book an appointment to work on your bike, have one of us work on your bike, or to look around and potentially buy a refurbished bike or parts.

Almost every appointment slot is being filled. If you are already familiar with Bike Root and would like to spend a couple hours a week at the shop, we could use your help to expand the schedule in this busy time. Contact us to get involved!

5 (or less) refurbished bicycles are ready for sale now! They are selling quickly, so supply and variety is becoming more limited. If you are interested in a bike that is not yet complete, you are welcome to purchase it as-is for a reasonably discounted price (up to the discretion of the volunteer), and then you can schedule in some DIY repair time to fix it yourself, schedule a full-service appointment, or figure something else out. Bikes will not be reserved or held for you until completion.

•6-10 speed chains [ETA: mid-June]
•8-10 speed cassettes
•Cranksets
•Bottom brackets in sizes other than cartridge style 127mm spindle
•8-11 speed rear derailleurs
•Most disc brake pads [too many different varieties to keep in stock]
