Workshops

Want to learn more about your bike? Come learn about basic bike maintenance in a personalized setting.

Utilizing our fully equipped shop and knowledgeable staff, you will learn about each part of your bike and how to clean, change or repair them, whether in the shop or on the side of the road.

Currently we are offering workshops at the University of Calgary.

The Bike Root
Cost per workshop: $10.00/person.

What to bring with you:
Closed toe shoes
Cash or credit card to pay for workshop upon arrival.

We provide you with:

  • Hands on experience and with a trained mechanic.
  • Gloves to keep your hands clean.
  • Apron to keep your clothes clean.
  • All the tools and equipment needed to practice on.
  • Opportunity to become a member.

Schedule:
15 minutes of demonstration, then 15 minutes of hands-on practice.

If you need to leave early, please let the mechanic know at the start of the workshop.
